Senior Student Enrollment

We like to think of SFCC as a “senior-friendly” college with a wide range of credit and noncredit programs for those who understand that learning is lifelong. Our noncredit Continuing Education program is particularly well suited to the more seasoned learner who wants to gain new skills, start a second or third career, follow a new passion or enjoy a new hobby. Our credit programs offer many other options, and by “auditing” a credit class, you can concentrate on the joy of learning without worrying about grades or credit.

Degree SeekingAcademic Advising

If earning a bachelor’s degree is on your itinerary, our transfer programs prepare you to move to a four-year university. Our associate in arts and associate in science degrees are patterned after the lower-division courses at universities. You get the required general education courses at SFCC, plus you can select an area of specialization to study later on.

Note: If you have not registered for courses at SFCC in the last five years, you must complete a new admission form. Hard copies of admission forms from students who are inactive for five years are destroyed per New Mexico state records retention policies.
