Adult Student Enrollment

Many people are surprised to learn that the average age of an SFCC student is 36. That’s right. SFCC is home to people of all ages and from all walks of life. Many of our students are returning to college after a long break or trying it for the first time. Many have full-time jobs and families. Some are coming back to college to finish a degree. Some want to start a whole new career, while others want to update their job skills to stay competitive in the workforce. Whether you are 25 or 75, have never been to college or have a Ph.D., you’re in good company at SFCC.

Degree SeekingAcademic Advising

If earning a bachelor’s degree is on your itinerary, our transfer programs prepare you to move to a four-year university. Our associate in arts and associate in science degrees are patterned after the lower-division courses at universities. You get the required general education courses at SFCC, plus you can select an area of specialization to study later on.
