ONLINE REGISTRATION GUIDE

THROUGH SFCC’S ONLINE STUDENT SERVICES SYSTEM you can get an updated listing of classes, new student information and admission form and financial aid information.

THERE IS ALSO A SECURE AREA where you can register for classes • make schedule changes • get your class schedule with room numbers • get your account balance • see your financial aid status • pay your bill with a credit card • view your grades and more!


To ACCESS the SECURE AREA

PROPSPECTIVE STUDENTS
WANTING TO APPLY
 
CURRENT STUDENTS
  1. Click on ONLINE REGISTRATION (upper left).
  2. Read the page of important registration information, then click on "Go directly to Online Registration" link.
  3. Click on START HERE (see FIG. 1, A).
  4. Follow the on-screen directions.
 
  1. Click on ONLINE REGISTRATION (upper left)
  2. Enter your User ID (see FIG. 1, B). Your User ID is your Student ID number (e.g., A00000111).
  3. Enter your 6-digit PIN* (see FIG. 1, C).
  4. Click on Login (see FIG. 1, D).

* If you haven’t used the Online Student Services System before, your PIN is your date of birth in MMDDYY format (May 2, 1982 is 050282). After you log in to the system for the first time, you will see the message,“your PIN has expired.” Do the following:

  1. Enter a new PIN. Your new PIN can be any six numbers except for the date of birth you used to initially log in.
  2. Re-enter your new PIN.
  3. Enter a security question.
  4. Enter the answer. If you forget your PIN, your security question and answer will enable you to choose a new PIN.
  5. Note your Student ID, PIN and security answer in a secure place for future reference.

Your account becomes disabled after three unsuccessful login attempts.

If you see the message, “Access to your account has been denied,” call the Registration Helpline at (505) 428-1270 or call (505) 428-1222 during business hours for assistance.


To ADD, DROP or SWITCH a CLASS

REGISTER FOR A CLASS   SWITCH CLASS TO AUDIT
  1. After logging in to the secure area, click on the Student and Financial Aid tab (top of screen).
  2. Click on Registration.
  3. Click on Add or Drop Classes.
  4. Select the term and click on Submit.
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the screen. Enter CRN(s) (see FIG. 2, A) and click on Submit Changes (see FIG. 2, B).
  6. Verify Registration Add Errors do not exist and ensure class is listed in Current Schedule block (see FIG. 2, C).
 
  1. Click on Action drop down menu (see FIG. 2, E).
  2. Select Audit.
  3. Click on Submit Changes (see FIG. 2, B).
  4. Verify the status states “Audited on…” (see FIG. 2, F).
  DROP OR WITHDRAW A CLASS
 
  1. Click on Action drop down menu (see FIG. 2, E).
  2. Select Web Drop or Web Withdraw.
  3. Click on Submit Changes (see FIG. 2, B).
  4. Verify the status confirms the action (see FIG. 2, F).

If Registration Add Errors appears (see FIG. 2, D), call (505) 428-1270 during business hours.

VIEW YOUR SCHEDULE

 

VIEW HOLDS

  1. After logging in to the secure area, click on the Student and Financial Aid tab (top of screen).
  2. Click on Registration.
  3. Click on Your Class Schedule.
 
  1. After logging in to the secure area, click on the Student and Financial Aid tab (top of screen).
  2. Click on Student Records.
  3. Click on View Holds.

VIEW ACCOUNT BALANCE and PAY ONLINE

 

VIEW GRADES or ACADEMIC TRANSCRIPT

  1. After logging in to the secure area, click on the Student and Financial Aid tab (top of screen).
  2. Click on Registration.
  3. Click on Get your Account Summary and Pay by Credit Card.
  4. To pay click on Pay By Credit Card.
  5. Select the term and click Submit.
  6. Follow the on-screen directions.
 
  1. After logging in to the secure area, click on the Student and Financial Aid tab (top of screen).
  2. Click on Student Records.
  3. Click on Final Grades or Academic Transcript.
