About the Program
If you are a mechanically minded, self-motivated and well-organized visual thinker, a career in the field of solar energy might just turn you on! SFCC's new Solar Energy certificate provides you with the skills required to design, plan, install and trouble shoot photovoltaic solar electric energy systems.
The certificate will also include a foundation in AC and DC electricity, grid tie applications, and an introduction to solar thermal systems. You will acquire the skills you need to begin working in the solar industry or apply your solar energy skills and knowledge to the green building sector.
