Santa Fe Community College's new Film Crew Certificate program offers classes, internships and entrepreneurial opportunities to help you get there! Film Crew I is the first course to begin the process of getting the experience and training you need to work in the motion picture industry:

  • Understand film production process
  • Organize crews and production schedules to produce motion pictures
  • Understand basic on-set protocols and professional behaviors
  • Develop and implement basic on-set safety procedures
  • Assist professional producers and directors in pre-production and post-production used in motion pictures

Students successfully completing the Film Crew Training I class may then opt to participate in the internship program or continue on to more specialized classes including Film Crew Training II that looks at the management jobs on a movie set and specialized classes in make-up artistry. All our classes are taught by professionals currently producing work in the film and media industry.
