School of Business and Applied Technologies - Film Program
Advanced Film Crew (Film Crew IV and V)
Ready to Work in Film?
We are currently in production on four student films this semester. To see how you can get involved please contact us at filminfo@sfccnm.edu. Applications for 2010-2011 Academic year will be accepted in May 2010.
Program Requirements
Once in the program, students must follow set deadlines to meet the goals of the class. After a school-related film screening, all students in the program will be required to submit their film to four film festivals that occur in the state of New Mexico at their own expense. Students who submit materials must be in-state/in-district residents and have the ability to show film or media work completed in the past five years.
The submission materials will be reviewed by a carefully selected panel of educators and filmmakers to judge who will be the best candidates for the program. Students accepted to the program as a director/producer team must enroll individually.
