About the Program

A certificate or degree in sign language interpreting offers you more than just fluency in at least two languages. It also gives you the ability to work in ever-changing environments and interact effectively in cross-cultural settings. The certificate program is designed to help you gain employment quickly - after just one year of concentrated study. With an associate degree in sign language interpreting, you'll be eligible for a broad range of jobs in many settings.

The Santa Fe Community College program allows you to earn a degree in sign language interpreting with an emphasis on the educational setting. A trilingual option with the addition of Spanish is available.
