Public Programming at the Planetarium - 2010

Tickets are $5 for adults; $3 for preteens and seniors; and free for SFCC students, SFCC employees and planetarium members. Tickets go on sale at the door 30 minutes before each program. Shows begin promptly; latecomers are not admitted.

7th at 8-9 p.m. - Backyard Astronomy.
Enjoy a live presentation in the planetarium followed by an outdoor viewing of the night sky, if weather permits.
16th at 8-9 p.m. - Echoes of the Night This program features a selection of Native American stories.
23th at 8-9 p.m. - How to Select a Telescope
Enjoy a live presentation in the planetarium followed by an outdoor viewing of the night sky, if weather permits.-

All children must be accompanied by an adult. Regular programs are not suitable for children under 5 years old. |

7th at 7-8 p.m. - Echoes of the Night
This program features a selection of Native American stories.
14th at 7-8 p.m.- Ancient Skies: Stonehenge
The study of ancient peoples' observation of the skies and its role in their culture.
Theater in the Planetarium.
21st at 7-8 p.m. La Llorona (Chautauqua)
This famous ghost from Spanish folklore is known throughout the world for her eerie, spine-chilling cries as she searches for her loved ones.
