Public Programming at the Planetarium - 2010

Tickets are $5 for adults; $3 for preteens and seniors; and free for SFCC students, SFCC employees and planetarium members. Tickets go on sale at the door 30 minutes before each program. Shows begin promptly; latecomers are not admitted.		4th at 8-9 p.m.- Backyard Astronomy Enjoy a live presentation of the current skies in the Planetarium and an outdoor viewing of the night sky, if weather permits 6th at 8-9 p.m. - Echoes of the Night This program features a selection of native american stories.
All children must be accompanied by an adult. Regular programs are not suitable for children under 5 years old.		1st at 8-9 p.m.- Backyard Astronomy Enjoy a live presentation of the current skies in the Planetarium and an outdoor viewing of the night sky, if weather permits. 3th at 8-9 p.m. - Echoes of the Night This program features a selection of native american stories. 10th at 8-9 p.m. - Ancient Skies: The Lost World of the Ancient Maya The Maya charted the heavens and mastered a system of calendars and mathematics that remains relevant today. 17th at 8-9 p.m. - Ancient Skies: Egypt This ancient civilization is not only about the pyramids, ancient art, tombs and temples, mythology and religion, but it is also a unique astronomical civilization.
