Library - Find Articles

[library home]

The following databases are online archives of newspapers, magazines and academic journals. They contain citations, abstracts and, in many cases, the full text of articles.

These are accessible from anywhere on the internet. In order to use these databases, you must have a current account with the Santa Fe Community College Library. Call (428-1352), email or drop by the library for the necessary ID and password.

InfoTrac  is a collection of thirteen databases, including Informe (Revistas en español), InfoTrac Professional Collection (for educators), Expanded Academic ASAP (for general academic research) and others.

FirstSearch is a collection of 52 subject-specific and general databases. Includes full-text as well as abstracts of articles.

CINAHL: SFCC subscribes to CINAHL Plus with Full Text, Pre-CINAHL, and CINAHL Select. You can search each individually, or all three at the same time. CINAHL Plus with Full Text alone provides indexing for 3,024 journals from the fields of nursing and allied health, with indexing back to 1937.

The Journal of Transformative Education (http://jtd.sagepub.com/) is a peer-reviewed, scholarly journal focused on advancing the understanding, practice, and experience of transformative education. Find articles from 2003 to present.
