Financial Aid For 2009-2010
FAFSA Applications
Returning students should remember to fill out the 2009/2010 Renewal FAFSA on the web application. We recommend you send your application early (by May 1st) for a smooth return to SFCC. Use your PIN number provided by the U.S. Department of Education to process your application online. If corrections need to be made to your financial aid application, you may bring the Student Aid Report (SAR) you received from the U.S. Department of Education to our office for processing, or make corrections online at www.fafsa.ed.gov
REMINDER: When filling out your application it is very important that question #31 on the FASFA is answered (Drug Conviction). If it is left blank, we will not be able to process your financial aid.
Try to avoid using estimated tax figures, the process wil go faster and easier if you use 2008 filed federal tax information.
Also, remember that if you take any late-starting courses, that portion of your aid will not be disbursed until after your late-starting class begins.

You will receive an award letter (notifIcation for financial aid assistance ie: grants, scholarships, work-study etc) when our review of your application is complete, including verification of data.
You can view online at the SFCC registration website https://sfccssb.sfccnm.edu/PROD/twbkwbis.P_WWWLogin any documents that we need to complete our review of your application and view your financial aid awards.
